Please note: Due to the extended length and diameter of the rod, there are often variances which prevent the two threaded ends from aligning with enough precision to allow the ability to hand turn the lock nut. A tool will almost always be required for opening and closing, as well as final tightening. 

 

These also come with lithium grease pre-applied to the threads
