The hanger and welded rings are made from 316 stainless steel.

The stainless steel rappel rings are the same rings that we already have on the store. These just have a hanger and another ring. The hanger will accommodate 3/8ā€ bolts and 10mm bolts.Ā Ā 

Ā 

Argon arc welded, with the welds manually grinded smooth by hand. They are made with 316 but not 316L stainless steel, which is preferable for welding due to its low carbon content, which reduces carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion. Additionally they did not undergo a post-weld annealing process, which addresses possible chromiumĀ carbide precipitation, heat stress caused by high welding temperatures, among other benefits. Therefore we currently do not recommend them for use in or near any corrosion prone areas. We suggest treating them as you would 304 stainless hardware.
